New York, NY - July 21, 2011 - EL AL Israel Airlines is introducing newly reduced roundtrip fares with savings of up to 25 percent. (The fuel surcharge is included in all promotions.) Passengers wanting to experience the pampering and superb service offered in Business Class can take advantage of these lower fares by purchasing a ticket before August 31st and traveling from September 1 through October 31, 2011. The roundtrip business class fare is $3,068 from New York (JFK/Newark) and $3,668 on the only nonstop flight from Los Angeles.
 
EL AL passengers living in other cities in the USA will also benefit from these attractively priced fares. A roundtrip business class ticket to Israel from Boston, Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando, West Palm Beach, and Washington, D.C. is $3,463. From Las Vegas and San Francisco, the roundtrip business fare is $3,663. Flights to/from these cities are on a leading domestic carrier and conveniently connect to a nonstop EL AL flight.
 
Another new attractive promotion offers EL AL Business Class passengers the option of upgrading to a First Class seat for an additional $500 or 550 "Matmid" frequent flyer points. EL AL is the only airline offering First Class on nonstop flights to Israel.  
The assured preferred seating in First Class is available on select flights from New York (JFK/Newark) and runs through most of September.

An exclusive promotion to "Matmid" frequent flyers provide savings for travel during the month of September as long as the ticket is purchased by July 31st. EL AL club members can combine both money and "Matmid" points so that the roundtrip fare is $1,099 + 50 points from New York (JFK/Newark) and $1,289 + 50 points to fly nonstop from Los Angeles. Also offered to EL AL passengers from a variety of cities in the USA is a special economy fare available for travel to Israel in the month of September. The roundtrip fare from New York (JFK/Newark) is $1,082 and nonstop from Los Angeles is $1,272.  From Boston, Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando, West Palm Beach, and Washington, D.C, the fare from each city is $1,127.  From Las Vegas and San Francisco, the price is $1,267. Fights to/from these cities are also on a leading domestic carrier and connect to a nonstop EL AL flight.
 
EL AL passengers can choose from 22 weekly nonstops from New York (JFK and Newark) and 5 weekly nonstops from Los Angeles (the only nonstop flights between the West Coast and Israel).
