Out of This World Service Imagine this: You are vacationing with a friend, you've sipped coffee in the terminal and have boarded your flight. The plane takes off and you begin to miss your family. Suddenly, a cabin attendant approaches you and says, "Somebody important thought of you!" The attendant presents you with a fancy package containing your favorite perfume, along with a greeting card from the family: ""Waiting for your return home. We love you best in the world!" WOW!

With EL AL's Gift in the Sky service, you can surprise the people who are really important to you with a personal gift and message.

You can add a personal note to each gift, on one of five greeting cards that are included at no extra cost.
EL AL's flight manager presents the specially gift-wrapped gifts to the passengers, on all of the airline's flights.
You can order a Gift in the Sky at the following times:

Flights Departing Overseas Destinations to Israel:
- Weekday flights– You may place your gift order until 10am the day before the flight.
- Sunday flights – You may place your gift order until 1pm on Thursday.
- Flights from the Far East and South Africa – You may place your order until 1pm five days before the flight.
- Flights from Miami, Los Angeles – You may place your gift order up to 48 hours before the flight, until 1pm.
- Flights from New York – At present and until further notice, it is not possible to order a Gift in the Sky from the New York or Newark stations.
- Flights from Toronto – You may place your gift order up to 48 hours before the flight, until 1pm.
To order a gift, call EL AL Reservations at *2250 or 03-9771111 and tell the service representative the name of the passenger, the date and destination of the flight, and leave the rest to us.
The service is available on all of EL AL's scheduled flights. *Payment is by credit card (Israeli and international credit cards are acceptable). Submit the number to the service representative when ordering.
