Unaccompanied MinorsChildren traveling on their own are in good hands. Cabin attendants escort and supervise them and see to all of their needs from their arrival at the airport until arrival at their destination.
EL AL offers special service to unaccompanied children aged 5 to 12, flying without an adult escort. Upon request, the service is also extended to children up to age 18. The service includes escorting and assisting the child from the moment the child arrives at the check-in counter and continues until he/she is met by adults at the destination. It can be ordered through a travel agent or directly at one of EL AL's offices as well as through EL AL's telephone reservations centers.
Children aged 5 to 12 can fly with EL AL without a parent or other escort if they meet all requirements.
The cost of the service is $75 per EL AL flight segment. The $75 payment covers one or more children from the same family flying on the same flight to the same destination.
Especially for our young passengers We have opened a special waiting room – the ELALCHIK Lounge – for these young passengers. The lounge is a pleasant, attractive, separate waiting room equipped with activities that children love: television, activity booklets and a wide choice of games – fun for the children to occupy them until flight time.
