At EL AL we are concerned about your comfort and safety. We hope that you find the following EL AL health tips useful. At times, flying requires you to sit for long periods of time without any physical activity. The compressed air in the passenger cabin may also be low in humidity. Unlike other forms of transportation, flying entails high speed movement that crosses many time zones, upsetting the body's biological clock. Although these factors do not constitute a health or safety threat to most passengers, we have included a number of guidelines for you to follow that may contribute to your comfort during and after the flight.
EL AL Health Tips
Proper eating and drinking will enhance your comfort both during and immediately after the flight.
Therefore we recommend:
- Avoid overeating just before and during the flight. It is hard to digest too much food when the body is not active.
- Minimize consumption of coffee, tea and alcohol (as explained above).
