EL AL Renews Operations to St. Petersburg
EL AL Vice President Commercial and Aviation Ties Rami Levy: “In light of increasing demand by passengers and travel agents, cancellation of the visa requirement and expected growth in market demand, we have decided to renew our operations on the St. Petersburg route as of December 23, 2008.
Flight LY613 will operate once a week on Tuesdays on 737-800 aircraft, departing from Tel Aviv at 6:30pm. The flight duration is 4 hours and 55 minutes.
The return flight, LY614, departs from St. Petersburg at 1:35am on Wednesdays and lands in Tel Aviv at 5:05am.
In August 2008, EL AL decided to temporarily discontinue its flights on the St. Petersburg route, due to low demand. Now EL AL is pleased to meet the increasing demand by reinstating regular operations on this route. When the summer timetable goes into effect, the frequencies on the route will be increased for passenger convenience.
