MR. AMIKAM COHEN
On January 2009 Mr. Amikam Cohen was appointed as El Al's Chairman of the Board of Directors as of 1 February 2009. Mr. Cohen is the Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") of Hutchison Water Holdings Company, a division of the Hutchison Whampoa group. Mr. Cohen was the founder and the first CEO of Partner Communications Ltd. until 2007. He previously served as the CEO of the Elite and Strauss groups, and at several top management positions at Tadiran.
Mr. Cohen received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from Ben-Gurion University.

MRS. TAMAR MOZES BOROVITZ
Tamar Mozes Borovitz has been appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of EL AL Israel Airlines and as a member of the board of Inter Alia of Knafaim Holdings Ltd in January 2005. She also serves as Chairman of Dori Media Group and is a board member of Mapal Communications Ltd and Tamar Mozes Investments.
Mrs. Borovitz holds a bachelor's degree in political science and sociology from Bar-Ilan University.

MR. YEHUDA (YUDI) LEVY
Yehuda Levy has been appointed member of the Board in January 2008. He also serves as Chairman of Knafaim Holdings Ltd, EL AL's parent company and as a board member of Dori Media Group Ltd, A.L. Aviation Assets Ltd and Adanim Wood Industries Ltd. Levy is the Managing Partner of Goldfarb, Levy, Eran, Meiri, Tzafrir & Co - the second largest law firm in Israel. Mr. Yehuda Levy holds an LL.B from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is a member of the Israel Bar and the New York State Bar Association.

MR. ERAN ILAN
Eran Ilan has been assigned member of the board in October 2007. He is also a board member of Knafaim Holdings Ltd. Until 2003, Ilan was a Law Firm Partner at Yigal Arnon & Co - one of the largest law firms in Israel. Mr. Ilan holds an LL.B from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is a member of the Israel Bar.

MR. AMNON LIPKIN-SHAHAK
Amnon Lipkin-Shahak has been appointed member of the board in January 2005. He serves as Chairman of Tahal Group - Israel’s largest engineering firm and is also a member of the board of I.D.S.S.T, Kardan Ltd., Nilit®, Tahal Group, Retalix and Visual Defence. Lipkin-Shahak is the former Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff, the former Transportation & Tourism Minister and a former Member of the Knesset.Mr. Lipkin Shahak is a graduate of Tel Aviv University for general history.

PROF. JOSHUA SHEMER
Prof. Joshua Shemer has been assigned member of the board in November 2008. He is also a board member of Assuta hospitals since 2005. Until 2007 Prof. Shemer was Director-General of Maccabi Healthcare Services. Prof. Shemer acquired his PHD. From Tel-Aviv university faculty of Medicine.

MR. NADAV PALTI
Nadav Palti has been appointed member of board in January 2005 and serves as Chairman of the Market Risks Managing, Finance and Budget & Balance Committees. Prior to that Palti served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Dori Media Group and as Chairman of the board of Mapal Communications Ltd. Mr. Nadav Palti has a bachelor's degree in economics from Tel Aviv University and holds a CPA degree.

Amiaz Sagis has been appointed member of the board in January 2005. He also serves as Chief Executive Officer of Shufersal Ltd - Israel’s largest retail chain and as CEO of Granite Hacarmel Investments Ltd - one of the largest holding companies in Israel. Mr. Amiaz Sagis has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in political science from Haifa University.

Pinchas Ginsburg has been appointed member of the board in June 2009.

MR. SHLOMO HANAEL
Shlomo Hanael has been appointed member of the board in June 2009.
He also serves as CEO of Knafaim Holdings LTD, EL AL's parent company and as a board member of Global Knafaim Leasing LTD, Tal Limousine and QAS (Alternating with Swissport), Kanfei Tahzuka.
Mr. Hanael holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University, Israel and B.Sc.degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Technion, Haifa, Israel.

MRS. SHOPIA KIMERLING
Sophie Kimerling was appointed member of the El Al board on January 2011. Mrs. Kimerling is also a board member of Knafaim Holdings Ltd, and Sun Dor International Airlines.
Mrs. Kimerling worked for National Semiconductor (Israel) for over 25 years, as the purchasing dept. manager.
Mrs. Kimerling holds a Business degree from the Derby (Israel) University.

MR. AVRAHAM BIGGER
AVRAHAM BIGGER has been appointed member of the board in December 2011.
Mr. Bigger served as Chairman of the board of Makhteshim Agan Industries Ltd. Until 2010 and previously served as the Vice Chairman Caesarea Edmond Benjamin de Rothschild Foundation until 2009 and Chairman of the board of Shufersal Ltd until 2007.
Mr. Bigger holds B.A. in Economics and MBA in Business management from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

MRS. YAEL ANDORN
Yael Andorn has been appointed member of the Board in November 2011. She served as the CEO of "Amitim Pension funds" until 2011. Before that Mrs. Andorn served as Deputy Director General at the Budget department in the Ministry of Finance, and previous to that was at the Central Bank of Israel.
Mrs. Andorn holds B.A. in Economics and Sociology and MBA in from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
