EL AL invites you to fly with your ski equipment to any EL AL destination (except North America) and enjoy a special baggage benefit: all ski equipment will be considered one piece of baggage, within the baggage weight allowance, regardless of baggage dimensions:
One pair of skis, ski poles and ski boots
OR
One snowboard and a pair of boots
OR
A pair of water skis or water slalom skis
If the weight of the ski equipment baggage exceeds the 23 kilo allowance, a fee of 1.5% of the full fare price of the Economy Class (Y class) flight ticket will be charged per flight segment.
The maximal charge will be for 3 kilos.
Flying to North America with Ski Equipment:
The ski equipment unit is considered one piece of baggage (weighing up to 23 kilos) and may be taken within the allowed baggage allowance.
When flying with one piece of luggage plus ski equipment (weighing up to 23 kilos) the equipment will be considered an additional piece of baggage and the usual $70 overweight fee will be charged.
Valid for flights to/from Israel on every route, only on EL AL flights, not including code share flights.
