- After you complete the enrollment form you will receive your "Matmid" membership number.
Once you have your “Matmid” Club number, follow these instructions:
- Click here to verify how many Matmid points you need to obtain a bonus ticket or upgrade or to take advantage of a special offer.
- Make a reservation with your travel agent or the EL AL reservations department at 800-223 6700.
- Call American Express at 1-800-297-3276. Tell the Customer Service Representative exactly how many points you would like to transfer to EL AL. Be sure to include your seven-digit "Matmid" number.
Please keep the following information in mind:
- BE CERTAIN THE EL AL FLIGHTS YOU WANT ARE CONFIRMED BEFORE YOU TRANSFER POINTS! ONCE AMERICAN EXPRESS TRANSFERS POINTS, THE TRANSACTION CANNOT BE REVERSED!
- Transferring points takes approximately 1 week.
- You must be a Matmid member with a USA American Express Card account to obtain a bonus ticket and/or upgrade and/or special offer with your Membership Rewards.
