Update: Last Minute Reduced Price Upgrade for Points – 48 Hours before the Flight and at the Airport


This is to inform you that as of September 2, 2012, there will be a change in the number of points required for a reduced price upgrade for points, 48 hours before the flight and at the airport.
The price of upgrades that are not last minute upgrades will not be changed.

The following table lists the number of points per direction required for a reduced price upgrade (48 hours before the flight and at the airport, for Silver, Gold, Platinum and Top Platinum members)
as of September 2, 2012.

Please note: If a higher Class is listed on the member’s reservation than on the ticket, a last minute reduced-price upgrade will not be allowed and the member will be charged the full price of a reservation in a higher Class.

If you are not interested in the upgrade, please update the “Reduced Price Upgrade 48 Hours Before the Flight” category.

Comments:
  • The upgrade will be in accordance with the preferences you indicated on your personal profile page (My Profile).
  • The reduced price upgrade 48 hours before the flight and at the airport will be paid for only with points.
  • You may make changes in your preferences regarding a reduced price upgrade for points up to 72 hours before each flight.
  • It is important to make sure that your up-to-date phone numbers appear on your reservation, for notifying you about the upgrade by SMS (text message).
  • The upgrade is on a space available basis and is subject to the procedure for reduced price upgrades.
