We wish to inform you that EL AL is discounting the operation of its direct route to Miami as of September and will offer you the option of flying to this destination while using the new agreement with American Airlines.

Discontinuation of this route is part of the process of optimizing EL AL's flight schedule as a result of the ever-increasing prices of fuel. We are pleased to offer all our passengers flying to/ from Miami the flexibility provided by EL AL's new agreement with American Airlines, which will enable you to reach Miami via New York or in isolated cases via other destinations.

Matmid members will continue to earn points on EL AL and  American Airlines flights.

During July and August EL AL's direct flights to Miami will continue to operate as usual.
