More Points in Economy Class on EL AL flights to North and South America
Matmid members purchasing flight tickets in Economy Class, U class will enjoy improved point accrual on flights to New York, Los Angeles, Toronto and Sao Paulo.
The following table specifies the number of points earned on each flight segment as of March 3, 2010.

Furthermore, As of March 3, 2010 Far East destinations: Thailand, China & Honk Kong will be related to a new zone: G.
Matmid Frequent Flyer members holding a voucher issued for zone E will be able to use it for flights or upgrades to Thailand , China and Hong Kong (zone G destinations).
Terms:
- The additional points for Los Angeles and Sao Paulo will be given for flights departing as from 3.3.2010 onward. The additional points for New York and Toronto will be given for flights departing between March 3, 2010 and March 31, 2010.
- Improved point accrual applies to flights departing for North and South America (New York, Los Angeles, Toronto and Sao Paulo) and to flights returning to Tel Aviv.
- The additional points are “Basic Points” (considered towards eligibility for upgrades/tier renewal and a reduced-price business upgrade 48 hours before the flight and at the airport).
- Only tickets purchased for U class earn additional points.
- Subject to EL AL Matmid Club regulations.
