FAMILIAR FACES FROM LEADING TELEVISION SHOWS AND MOVIES VISIT ISRAEL VIA EL AL AIRLINES
Celebrities Experience Nation’s Cultural, Historial, Political and Social Importance New York, NY – Dec. 6, 2011
– A group of five American television and film celebrities flew EL AL Israel Airlines
for a week-long tour of the country. The group, all of whom are first time visitors to Israel, includes Greg Grunberg (star of “Heroes” and “Felicity”), Shaun Sipos ( the new “Melrose Place”), Justin Chatwin (“War of the Worlds”), Austin Nichols (“One Tree Hill”) and Mary Lynn Rajskub (“24” and “Legally Blonde II").
While in Israel, the group is travelling throughout the country and visiting sites of cultural, historical, political and social importance, including the Black Out restaurant in Jaffa (where they will be served by blind waiters and eat in total darkness). They will experience a midnight moonlight biking tour of the Old City in Jerusalem, a swim in the Dead Sea and visit “A Better Place” where they will test drive an electric car, as Israel is a leader in this technology. They will also meet with Israeli government officials, media and artists to learn more about Israel’s significant role in the global community.
The mission is sponsored by The Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, Americas Voices and EL AL Israel Airlines.
