Nov. 22, 2011 – The National Council of Young Israel recently honored EL AL Airlines with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Sefer Torah Project Award at the organization’s centennial dinner.
EL AL was recognized for continuously supporting the decade long campaign to provide the Israeli Army, Navy and Air Force with Sifrei Torah.
EL AL Vice President/General Manager, North and Central America, Danny Saadon, accepted the award on behalf of the airline and joined the hundreds of attendees in celebrating this noteworthy occasion.
