January 28, 2010 – EL AL, Israel’s national airline, today brought home the delegation of Israel Defense Forces who have been providing medical assistance to victims of the horrendous earthquake in Haiti.  Many search and rescue teams and medical personnel as well as a K9 rescue squad returned to Israel this morning on a special EL AL flight from the capital city, Port-au-Prince. The delegation commander personally thanked EL AL President Elyezer Shkedy for sending two EL AL aircraft containing more than 80 tons of emergency medical supplies and dozens of medical teams.
