New York, NY – February 11, 2010 –Bishop Charles Scott of the Pentecostal Church of God International flew to Israel on EL AL Airlines, leading a group of 130 pastors and their spouses from the church’s executive leadership.  This is the first official solidarity mission to Israel on behalf of the Pentecostal Church and the first trip to Israel that Bishop Scott is leading.  While in Israel, as a part of Eagles' Wings "Watchmen on the Wall" program, the group is meeting with Israeli government officials, touring the country, and presenting a prayer covenant to the Knesset on behalf of the 4,700 churches and the more than 600,000 congregants worldwide.

Pastor Sherlock Bally of Sherlock Bally Ministries (based in the Caribbean Islands) is leading dozens of pastors from the Caribbean on this mission and is committed to bringing hundreds of pilgrims to Israel annually.

The Pentecostal Church of God states that this mission of support for Israel and the prayer covenant establishes a precedent for the Pentecostal Church of God. Under the direction of Rev. Dr. Robert Stearns, Executive Director of Eagles’ Wings, the “Watchman on the Wall” program  educates the Christian community about supporting Israel. This educational mission was organized by Gil Travel USA.
