EL AL Matmid frequent flyer members departing the U.S.A. between September 1 and October 24, 2009 can save over 40% off the lowest published fare in economy class. The all inclusive roundtrip fare (with the fuel surcharge and taxes) is $849 nonstop from New York (JFK/Newark) plus 299 Matmid Points and $1039 plus 299 Matmid Points on a nonstop flight from Los Angeles.
