This course provides a detailed description, operation, and component location, removal and installation, BITE and troubleshooting procedures.

Course Objectives and Duration:

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:

  • Recall the principal through maintenance activities of the aircraft including fault isolation

  • Recall systems and aircraft handling, particularly access power availability and sources

  • Recall the location of the principal components

  • Recall the normal function of each major system including terminology and nomenclature

  • Interpret readings and indications provided by BITE and other information systems

  • Identify and use family of ATA 100 reference manuals
